Fifth Imperium -This site host copies of the free ebook CDs that Baen Books binds into some hardback books. In absolute terms it’s a rather small collection of Sci Fi and fantasy ebooks, but I find it useful when I need to download a replacement copy of an ebook I bought from Baen.

MobileRead – At MobileRead there are over 14,000 ebooks that were converted and uploaded by members in a wide variety of categories. I like to follow the recent uploads RSS feed becuase it often introduces me to a new author.

Feedbooks -This is a self publishing site that hosts public domain and CC licensed ebooks. The content is entirely dependent on user uploads.

Book View Cafe – This site is a writer’s cooperative with over 20 professional genre writers as members. It was started as an alternative ebook publishing venture. Most of the ebooks aren’t free, but some are.

Golden Age of Comics -This site is dedicated to free public domain comics from the 1930′s, 40′s, and 50′s. It has a truly diverse collection.
