This is slightly old, but I thought it worth a post.

The Australian Publishers Association announced a new ebook distribution platform recently. It has a rather novel approach in that it is geared towards being used in a physical bookstore. According to the article, books form most Australian publishers will be available in any bookstore that participates in the APA’s TitlePage program. During the sale, the customer will need to provide an email address. A unique download link will be sent to that address, and the customer can download the ebook at a conveneint time.
