TheBookSeller reported:

Adult readers will be able to buy one paperback under £10 and get a second free to donate to charity or give as a gift as part of this year’s World Book Day. Vouchers will be given away in the Times, Sunday Times, the Sun or News of the World between 4-7 March.

World Book Day said the initiative aimed to “remind adults about the joy of reading and pleasure of sharing a good book”.

Victoria Barnsley, chair of World Book Day and HarperCollins c.e.o., said: “The Buy One Give One Free campaign means that World Book Day really offers something for everyone. Together with the well-established Children’s campaign and Quick Reads, this squares the perfect circle, catering for book lovers and new readers alike.

World Book Day is scheduled for 4 March, and is the biggest annual celebration of books and reading in the UK and Ireland.
