I’m at O’Reilly TOC right now, and I got a few minutes with a rep from Marvell. He told me that the Alex (which was supposed to go on sale yesterday) will not ship for 10 weeks.

Wow, I waited for Feb 22 just to get an Alex as I figured it wasn’t that long to wait after CES. Now they just pushed it off 10 more weeks. I now firmly believe that the Alex is vaporware and is going to be too late in the game to be worth the wait.
I am happy when a company can make a purchasing decision for me!
wow indeed… 10 week delay?? My bet is they knew about it, and where the heck is the announcement then? With all the hype that’s built up around this at the CES and the media coverage…. not a good start spring, not a good start..
…. WELL i WAS waiting, but I now have a receipt for my brand new nook.
