I finally got my chance to see the new Mirasol screen. Unfortunately, it’s not set up to do anything other than the demo video that you’ve seen on Youtube. Still, it presents some interesting possibilities.

The Qualcomm rep did confirm that the 5.7″ screen will be used by a major manufacturer, and it will be on the market by the end of the year. But he didn’t say anything about the cost of the Mirasol screen as it compares to E-ink.
