Sony donated 500 ebooks to the San Diego Public Library

As a goodwill gesture, and to spur the expansion of the ebook collection, Sony has generously donated 500 ebooks to the San Diego Public Library. According to the SDPL, the ebooks are not public domain titles. Instead, Sony will cover the cost of acquiring 500 current release titles, both fiction and nonfiction. source

New hands on video of the EB603 from The Digital Machine

The Digital Machine is a tech company out of Taiwan. Previously they’ve shown us 2 e-readers with that they’re (hopefully) going to sell sometime soon. This video shows a third ebook reader, the EB 603; and it appears to be a Hanvon N510.
