MobileCrunch is reporitng that AT&T will soon offer a new Android smartphone called the Dell Aero. Here is what AT&T said:
AT&T also will soon unveil an Android-based smartphone the Dell Aero. This will be Dell’s first smartphone available in the U.S., and will feature a new, beautiful custom user interface developed by Dell and AT&T. To learn more about the Dell Aero, visit www.att.com/aero.
So why am I discussing a smartphone on an ebook blog? Simple. The Aero is a close relative of the Dell’s first Android device, the Mini 5. They’re almost certainly developed by the same product group.
Do you remember the Mini 5 Kindle app rumor from a couple weeks back? If that rumor is true, then the Aero will almost certainly get the app as well.
BTW, do you remember the Wired article I found where Dell discussed their plans for Android (a family of devices, basically)? Two devices isn’t a family, but it’s a start.
