Do you remember the book trailers I’ve posted? Melville House Publishing has decided to sponsor a new award for book trailers, the Moby. They’ve identified 5 categories for the award:
- Best Big Budget Book Trailer (big houses, or more than $500)
- Best Low Budget Book Trailer (indie houses, or less than $500)
- Best Cameo in a Book Trailer
- Best Performance by an Author
- and the “Least Likely to Sell the Book” Trailer
Okay, I realize that I’m several days behind everyone else, but that was intentional. I was waiting to see what the response was. There are now over 160 nominations for the Moby Awards. The site is worth visiting now that it has at least a day’s worth of videos to watch.
