Rumors have been circulating for the past week about Blackberry supposedly working on a tablet. I’ve been ignoring the rumors because, well, they’re rumors.
There is a post on Boy Genius Report with some exclusive details, and I think there’s a better than even chance that these details are true. As you might recall, BGR was the first to leak pictures of the K2, and they did it several months before the official announcement. based on BGR’s past success, I put a lot of weight in what they say.
BGR is reporting:
- it’s called the Blackpad
- 8.9″ screen
- it’s strictly a companion device (no cell connection)
- the projected launch date is December
