What Amazon is really announcing is that Kindle iPad app now available everywhere you can buy an iPad. That’s not all that many countries, actually. I’m not sure that this even qualifies as news. At most, all Amazon did was toggle a setting in the App Store (from “US” to “global”).

In other news, I was just told that Amazon has dropped the $2 delivery fee on ebooks sold in the international Kindle Store.
