New firmware available for the Sony Reader

Apple rolls out iOS4

Apple is now offering the iOS4 upgrade. Inspite of the long download time it’s still worth getting (iBooks requires it). I wonder if anyone’s going to get it amid the e-reader hubbub today. FYI: First gen iPhones can’t use it. Was abandoning older devices really a good idea?

PVI changes name to E Ink

Amazon Kindle now $189 – not a joke

Foxit withdraw from Europe

It’s official. Actualitte is reporting that PDf software maker Foxit has shut down their European subsidiary.  They’ve already ceased operations, and will formally shut down by 30 June.
