Actualitte are reporting that French retailer Carrefour will soon be carrying one of the Samsung’s new e-readers in their 228 stores. The retail is going to be 329 €, which is ridiculously high when compared to the Kindle or Nook.
In other news, I have no clue when this e-reader will be available in the US. I cannot get a definite answer out of Samsung. But I do know that it is listed by J&R on their website (you can preorder one for $299).
Update: A rep for MediaWorld.it pointed out that they already have this e-reader in stock.

Hi Nate,
Samsung E60 is already sold in brick-and-mortar stores here in Italy at 329 €, too.
It seems that they will sell the E65 model here, too (I don’t know when).
These are the prices in Europe: higher! (Sony PRS600 is 249 €, and PRS300 is 169 €, for instance…)
..or here on MediaWorld.it , available on stock
