First I want to point you at a site: SlateDroid. It’s a user forum for Android tablets. It’s only about a month and a half old, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to become a good info source for tablets. This is where I got a number of my tips on the Novel.

Several members at SlateDroid have reported that they’ve picked up a white Novel this week from Kohl’s. It’s not on the Kohl’s website, but apparently these units are going to raincheck holders. They’ve also said that the units have the 4 July update.

I’ve already tried the firmware, and I’m not impressed.
