E-books attracting more Turkish readers

Here’s a good overview of ebooks in Turkey. It had several details that were new to me.

Interest in e-books, which received only lukewarm support from publishers when they first emerged, is increasing despite worries about negative effects on printed books. Fifty Turkish publishing houses are now producing e-books, while top names in the sector, including Do?an Books and ?let?im, are working hard to offer their titles in a digital format

Despite concerns about its effects on the sales of printed books, publishers are continuing to increase the number of Turkish books now being sold as e-books.
