A friend at MobileRead just clued me in on a new ebookstore. BookRepublic have just opened, and they have 500 Italian language ebooks in stock from Italian publishers. They expect to increase this to 1,500 ebooks fairly soon.

UPDATE: One of my readers sent me an email with information about 2 other ebookstores in Italy. (Is BookRepublic the third? I’m not sure, but close enough.) Simplicissimus opened an ebookstore some time back. They have 600 titles now and expect to increase that to around 2k by September. And IBS.it, Italy’s largest online bookstore, have added an ebook section to their website.
