TechCrunch found an interesting new WordPress plugin today. Padpressed is designed to make a standard WordPress blog look like an app when read on an iPad. If not for the fact that it cost $50 and is still rather buggy, I would have downloaded it right away.
It was on my “wait until they fix the bugs list” until I read Mike Cane’s post this morning. He raises the quite reasonable objection that this plugin only works for the iPad. What about other platforms like Android? He’s right. I’m still going keep an eye on it, but I will not buy it until they support more platforms.
