Pocketbook to announce new e-readers, tablet at IFA-Berlin

They’re playing this one very close to their chest, and I really don’t have much in the way of details. But here’s what I know. First, Pocketbook are going to relaunch their ebookstore with 250k titles.

They’re going to announce a new 6″ and 9.7″ e-readers as well as a 7″ Android tablet. The tablet is supposed to retail for $200 and it will have Wifi, Bluetooth, and an Atom CPU (which may be a sign of a better than average design).

All the e-readers will have Eink screens with Wacom touchscreens, Bluetooth, and Wifi. The e-readers will also have the option of a 3G connection. But best of all, they’re supposed to ship right away.

Update: Pocketbook have put the first press photos for their new e-readers online. It turns out the info I was given for some of the models was incorrect. The basic models won’t have a Wacom screen.

First up we have the Pocketbook 602 and 603. As you can see, the 603 has a Wacom touchscreen and 3G. (click to enlarge)

Next is the Pocketbook IQ, a 7″ Android tablet. And last but not least are the 902 and 903. As you can see, the 903 has the Wacom touchscreen and 3G.
