Smart Devices have just released some ph0tos and the specs for their 7th tabet.
The SmartQ V3 runs Android 2.1 on a 4.3″ screen, with a 600MHz CPU, 256MB RAM, Wifi, HDMI out. The SmartQ V3 will reportedly sell for under $100 in China, although there’s no word about whether it will launch internationally.
The main difference between the V3 and the V5 is the screen size (V5 has a 4.8″ screen). I have the Nokia 770 (it has a 4.3″ screen), and based on my experience the difference in screen size matters a lot more than you might think. I think this one is too small to be useful as a tablet.
This one really should be called a PDA, not tablet.
