Engadget are reporting on a new printer that will ship with a control panel based on a 7″ Android tablet. The Photosmart eStation C510 is listed for $399.99 and according to the product page, with the tablet you can “browse the latest e-book bestsellers or old favorites.”
Everyone’s jumping to the conclusion that this will have the Nook app, which would make some sense. After all, HP already have a rebranded Nook desktop app.
But I have the feeling that we might see the Kobo app instead. Kobo have been working really hard at getting their app bundled on various devices. Adding this printer would be right up their alley.
