The v1.1 update hasn’t been announced yet nor has the website been updated, but I have it on my computer right now. It’s actually dated 3 September, but this is the first I’ve heard of it.
Stop what you’re doing. Go boot up Nookstudy and let it download the update. It’s worth it.
Some of the improvements include:
- a _real_ 2 page view (for example, pages 5 and 16)
- thumbnails for imported files (your ebooks)
- ability to import multiple files by drag and drop
- export notes (pardon me while I go wipe the drool off my keyboard)
- improved web links in notes
- shared links
- bug fixes and other improvements
When this launched I thought it was one of the best desktop reading app on the market. Much to my surprise, they’ve improved it. At this point it’s a serious threat to the dedicated textbook platforms. It’s that good.
