The Internet Archive recently moved to a new home, and when they did they inherited several antique reading desks from the previous owners.
It’s a clever way to repurpose an antique, but I really hope they didn’t cut the hole in the reading surface. The device they mounted is only temporary (it will last 3, maybe 4 years). It’s wrong to butcher an antique that could last another 100 years for a temporary use.

Reading Desk 2.0, built by Jermaine, soon to be running the new IA touch bookreader!
