The Blio folks tweeted this message earlier today:
Private Beta of accessible Blio to begin testing 11/15. If you would like the chance 2 participate in testing, DM us your info
This is big news, of course, but it brought my attention to another issue. How accessible is Twitter (for the visually disabled)?
P.S. If you’re not on Twitter and you’d like to be in the beta, leave a comment with your email and I’ll forward it to them.

where is the iOs 4 betas , I would like a free ipod touch text to speech ebook reader no such app exits for free that supports ebooks format and can read them of course the problem is getting voices into itunes and blio reader , unless it comes prebuilt with high quality voices like nerospeech ones, only pc downloads on on that site, which is ok, but not for my ipod touch, their are a lot of ebook readers but no true text to speech one for epub yet at least none I found unless blio reader changed its name and make it shareware under the title of vbookz app
since I only own a ipod touch 2nd gen Ipod touch, I will not be using the blio reader for it, since its not supported, they only support current gen ipods , its sad, since I wait for them to release the app, and when they do , it will not work for mine. thats why I am switching to a zune hd player, apple sucks.
also since apple stopped making firmware for the 2nd gen, and the audio out is failing on my ipod touch now, that another reason why I am switching to the zune hd player, plus I am tired of current version of itunes crashing on windows 7, and the fact it seems to like to grab all the windows memory on my laptop too much and freeze up the app, all the time on the pc, so maybe the zune windows 7 software will be more stable than itunes. so it lacks apps, but if your using it for a music player, and maybe a ebook reader , who really cares, it would be nice if they did have more apps thou for the zune hd player.
