Prestigio add 2 new e-readers to their stable

December 22nd, 2010 by Nate Hoffelder · No Comments · hardware news

Prestigio have added a couple new e-readers to the pair I showed you back in July, one with an LCD screen and the other with an E-ink screen.

The first e-reader, which you might recognize as the Trekstor or the Nextbook Next1, has a 7? LCD screen(800×600), 2GB Flash, a microSD card slot, but no Wifi or touchscreen. It’s being sold by Libre.de for 129€.

I have a close relative of this e-reader, the Elonex 700EB. It has the same general design but a slightly different screen. My nit is a pretty good basic e-reader, and it has excellent video abilities.

The other e-reader  should also be familiar. It’s aka the Oaxis, Kogan e-reader, and it’s popped up in a couple other places as well. It has a 6? E-ink screen, and it was one of the first e-reader designed by Gajah. Again, 2GB Flash, a microSD card slot, but no Wifi or touchscreen. Libre.de are selling it for 199€. Yes, that is more than little overpriced for such a basic e-reader.
