Charbax scored another exclusive yesterday when he sat down with Archos other new tablet, the Arnova 8″.
Like the 10″ model, this baby has is running on a 600MHz RK2818 CPU, with resistive touchscreen, 4GB Flash, microSD card slot, Wifi, speaker, microphone, and an accelerometer. It weighs about 17 ounces, and has 6 hours of video battery life. It’s going to sell for $149/149€, and is already up for pre-order here in the US.
Like the 10″ tablet, this one is going to ship with Android v2.1 Eclair, but it should get updates to Gingerbread. The 8″ Arnova will also be getting the RK2918 update in April with the faster CPU and capacitive touchscreen.
