The AAP have released their end of year statistics for the US book market. Note that these numbers only reflect the US market, and don’t include all publishers and retailers.
Ebook sales hit a record high of $69.9 million USD, which is an increase of about $20 million over December ebook sales, and well over twice the sale of January 2010 (from $32.4 million to $69.9 million).
If the market follows past patterns, February ebook sales should be around $65 million. Let’s see what happens.
