Barnes & Noble are selling the Nook Wifi today for only $99. You can find it on Ebay, and get this- it’s not a refurb. They’re selling new Nook Wifi for $99. If you needed any confirmation that this e-reader was on the way out, there you go.
A couple weeks ago I predicted the Nook 3G was being sold off to clear the way for the new B&N e-reader. Now it looks like I didn’t think big enough. Both models are going away.

It is $119.88 at Walmart now.
Normally I would say it is better to buy a refurbished 3G+Wifi as I did, but the newspaper selection is so lousy I am not sure it matters all that much.
