The admins over at XDA-Forums have just announced that they’ve noticed the vast number of TouchPads sold over the weekend and they figured it was time to spur TP hacking.
This is the leading hardware hacking community on the web, and it’s been the first place to find any number of new tricks, firmwares, and customized apps. That forum is where I first heard about the Nook Touch being hacked, and that’s where the first photos of the NookColor running the hacked CM7 firmware were posted.
And now that the TouchPad has its own forum, the real work of achieving its full potential can begin.
Of course, it’s important to note that the TP had already been hacked, and I’m told that the current hacked firmware is a major improvement on the original.
But I’m still looking forward to getting Android running on mine.

Wasn’t even planning to open mine, just flip it for 250. This might change my mind.
