It looks like the  HP TouchPad clearance madness isn’t quite over with just yet. One of the daily deals websites have somehow gotten their  hands on the last remaining stock of the HP TouchPad.

Daily Steals  have the 32GB  Wifi model on sale today, new and in the retail box. It doesn’t come with any extras, though.

You know, I’m trying to summon up some enthusiasm for this offer and I cannot.  To be honest, it’s not all that great of a deal. You can find 32GB TouchPads on Ebay or Amazon for not too much more than what Daily Steals are asking.

But it’s still a decent price for a 10″ tablet running on a dual core CPU. I just wish it had a better camera than 1.3MP, and I wish it had a second one for that matter.  The original retail ($600) was a little ridiculous considering the hardware specs.

But remember, today’s deal only saves you about $20 off of the price you can find on Amazon. Also, if you do get one there’s still not much in the way of reading apps (luckily they’re still under development). You can also install Preware or hack your TP, and that will give you access to more reading apps. Oh, and I almost forgot that you can read OverDrive library ebooks in the Kindle app.
