Barnes & Noble is having an unannounced sale today on the refurbished Nook Color. You can find B&N selling it on Ebay for $120. Damn. That’s $30 off the regular price for the NC refurbs. Compared to any other Android tablet on the market, this is a very good deal.
Earlier this week I criticized the Nook Tablet because it is too closed to suit me, and the same goes for the NC. But with this price I seriously think I might get one anyway. A hacked NC is a very nice tablet, and that goes double when it gets this cheap.

I ordered one of these yesterday–great deal. I read a comment on another blog that these refurbished NC’s are sometimes well worn. I hope I get a decent one. My wife has the original Nook. Her first one developed a screen issue after a few months so they replaced it with a refurbished one that looked as good as new. I figure, why pay the difference for a new one since you may end up with a refurb anyway.
