Who we are
Nate Hoffelder, General Editor and Malcontent at Small- This is me. I’ve been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first e-reader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there.

Before I started this blog in January 2010, I had covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It’s a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog.

Rich Adin, Guest Colmnist – Rich Adin has worked in publishing for 28 years – both inside in two major publishers and as publisher of a small press. For the past 24 years, he has worked full-time as editor and managing partner of Freelance Editorial Services, an editorial firm that works with publishers and that specializes in medical and education books, and as president of wordsnSync Ltd, a creator of Word macros for editors. He blogs about publishing and books at An American Editor.

What we cover

This has grown into a news, review, & opinion blog. I cannot help but have opinions; it comes from writing the reviews. Even when I’m just reporting on news I will try to put it in perspective and this will often be influenced by my personal opinion.
