Dropbox Automator – SendToKindle For the Rest of Us

A few weeks back Amazon released  nice little tool called SendToKindle. fter you installed it on your Windows PC, it gave you the option to right-click on certain files and send them to your Kindle. It’s a neat little tool, but it is also restricted to just Windows. If you’re running Linux or OSX, you’re out of luck.

Amazon Releases SendToKindle

Amazon decided today to show that not all the interesting gadget news gets announced at CES. They’ve just released a new app you can install on your Windows PC.

SendToKindle  acts something like a printer driver, and it lets you select print docs as a PDF and automatically email them to your Kindle account on Amazon.com. You can also right-click on a file while looking at it in a folder and send it to your Kindle account.

Kindle for iPhone, iPad Updated – Now Supports PDF, Kindle Cloud, and More

Christmas came a little early for iPad users this year. Amazon has just rolled out an update for their reading app on the iPad and iPhone, and they added a bunchaton of new features.

The iPad app is getting support for the new magazines and other periodicals currently found on the Kindle Fire. That’s over 400 titles with new and rich formatting. You can buy a single issue or subscribe and Amazon will  automatically deliver them to your gadget.

K3 Updated – Now Supports Kindle Cloud

Amazon released a new update for the K3 Wifi and K3 3G yesterday. This is definitely one that you shouldn’t wait for. Go get it (here).

The update give the K3 the same Kindle Cloud support that you can find on the K4. Do you know how Amazon save a copy of every ebook you buy from them as well as the attached notes and highlights? Well now you can do that with your personal documents on your K3.
