I cam across an interesting report published last month on how current copyright laws are preventing the duplication of sound recordings. A lot of the recording are in a seriously decayed state. The WSJ is reporting(it was more of a footnote really): The Journal plans to charge subscribers $17.99 a month for iPad subscriptions, according to a person familiar with the matter.
