BenQ R100 Android tablet due out Q1

Cybook Orizon due out in October – retail is 229.99€

Amazon stock downgraded due to ebook rivalry

The Wall Street Journal is reporting: Despite its early lead in the fast-growing e-book market, Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) faces growing competition from tech giants Google Inc. (GOOG) and Apple Inc. Kobo profits drop due to e-reader

Reuters is reporting that Indigo Books (corporate parent of Kobo) has annonced a drop in profits for the 4th quarter 2009, from C$1.9m in 4Q2008 to C$500,000 in 4Q2009.
