E-Ink reported 2010 revenues almost twice that of 2009
January 10th, 2011 · 2 Comments · hardware news
E-Ink filed their earning report for 2010 this past week. The total consolidated revenue for 2010 was NT$25.179 billion. I did some digging, and E-ink’s reported income for 2009 was NT$12.979 billion. Their income nearly doubled in a single year. Impressive, no? Digitimes are reporting that E-ink saw a drop in income in May, but I’m confused by their numbers. They say revenues were down, but they quoted a higher number. Small- to medium-size TFT-LCD panel and electrophoretic display (EPD) maker E Ink Holding, previously known as Prime View International (PVI), has posted consolidated revenues of NT$1.7 [...]
PVI January revenues down
February 12th, 2010 · No Comments · hardware news
Digitimes is reporting that E-ink screen manufacturer PVI saw a drop in sales during January. Revenue was about 4% less than December, but about 154% more than January 2009. So basically the decrease might be a blip or it might indicate a shift in the market to Sipix screens. We don’t know.
