Charbax was at a trade show last week when he came across this new e-reader. The B516 is an updated version of the existing N516. I’ve got one on my desk, and it has all the same buttons, only on the B516 they’ve been moved slightly. It’s supposed to be on the market some time [...]

Pandigital decided to surprise us today with a new Android tablet. Apparently they decided there weren’t enough Novel tablets out there, so they released this one. This Novel is black, obviously, but if you look closely you’ll see that the hardware looks a lot like the white Novel. In fact, I did a little digging [...]

I just came across another 7″ LCD e-reader on Walmart’s website (they have the best e-reader selection anywhere). You might recognize the hardware; I’ve reviewed it before as the Skytex Primer and apparently Skytex isn’t the only company to put their logo on it. It’s based on a 7″ LCD screen, and it has 4GB [...]

Scruffy Kitty app shows how not to launch an app
October 11th, 2010 · 1 Comment · ipad app, opinion
Sometimes I like to discuss how people are doing their jobs, rather than what they are doing. A new children’s book app was launched today called Scruffy Kitty, and I almost didn’t post about it. A lot of apps are being launched lately, and the deciding factor on whether I write a post is how [...]
