Charbax followed up the press conference video with some hands on time with the display samples.
I’m really impressed with the design on these e-readers. According to my sources, they were designed by Foxconn. They’re a big change from the previous Pocketbook models.

Wired is constantly working to find new ways to promote their digital magazine (just the ones that won’t work).Their latest idea is to give the iPad app exclusive content that they have denied their paper subscribers. I’m sure this will make the app worth $3.99 an issue.

Viewsonic had a press event yesterday in Taipei where they announced 2 new e-reader models that they are going to sell in Taiwan.. The tech blog Tweaktown was there, and they shot these videos.
