Man Booker Prize judges to go digital this year

The Age are reporting that this year’s panel of judges for the Man Booker literature award won’t have to cope with the vast stack of paper books as they did last year. The 2011 Prize will be the first where competitors are requested to submit a digital copy as well as the paper books.

Amazon sold more ebooks last year than paperbacks

Amazon released their Q4 statement today, and it was a doozy. Amazon sold 115 ebooks last year for every 100 paperbacks. Ad they sold 3 times as many ebooks as they did hardbacks. Inventec to ship 1 million NookColor e-readers by year’s end
